The aim of this project is to improve the knowledge and skills of the health system managers. After performing the needs assessment phase, the required contents for health system managers organized in more than 100 lectures in the form of 60 educational packages. Currently most of the educational needs of the experts and managers of the health system and faculty members of the medical universities have been fulfilled by these packages.

Standards of Functional Integration in Health System
To improve the mutual relationship among different areas of health system, by order of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education (Educational Development Center), standards of functional integration in health system project designed and implemented in VHDI. In the first phase of this project, more than 150 main cross-boundary and cross-organizational processes in the health system were identified and then in order to establish effective flow of activities throughout these processes, the package of standards of functional integration, which include more than 300 standards, were developed.

Standards of Clinical Training in Teaching Hospitals
By order of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education (Educational Development Center), and In order to improve the quality of clinical education in teaching hospitals, the project of setting the standards of clinical education were designed and implemented in VHDI. In first phase of this project the situation of clinical education in over 75 clinical teaching department was reviewed. In next phase to overcome the identified problems in these departments, 247 standards in six areas of “ambulatory clinical education”, “educational rounds”, “grand rounds”, “ morning report”, “ Journal Club” and “clinical skills centers” were developed.

Family Physicians Training Packages
In coordination with the “Secretariat of Medical and Specialty Education Council” and “Center for Management of Health Networks” (MOHME), this project was designed and developed in VHDI. In this project after assessment of the educational needs of doctors who work in Health Networks, the empowerment syllabus for Family Physicians was compiled, then the required training packages was developed in collaboration with hundreds of respected professors from different universities of medical sciences. Currently, nine universities in country run the first semester of this virtual course.

Training Packages for Trainers of Community Nurses
The aim of this project, is upgrading the academic and career rank of Trainers of Community Nurses (Behvarzs) to faculty members with differentiated expertise in community oriented education and research. This project designed and developed by order of “Center for Management of Health Networks”. In this project after performing the needs assessment phase from working Trainers, the syllabus for the master program of community oriented health education was developed. Currently packages for the first semester of the virtual courses are being developed and soon the first semester of this course will be implemented for the trainers of community nurses in different universities.
National Academic Development Plan
The project's proposal has been prepared by the order of the "Center for Evaluation and Accreditation" of MOHME. The aim of this project is to develop strategic development documents of higher education in the field of health. The project currently is in the contract process.
